eTrac 2.0 uses geospatial asset information to generate schematic diagrams on demand known as ‘Geomatics’. The platform, which has recently been used to create 26,000 KM of digital diagrams for the UK Rail network, brings together thousands of disparate data sets, that exists in many different formats to provide a single view of the world.
The system can be used to visualise, annotate and share asset information imported from existing data warehouses, as well as providing a very simple and efficient way to cleanse and maintain data using a drag and drop interface.
Version control, auditing and reporting services are also available to approved users and most importantly, the system can be easily integrated as a service layer within existing platforms using a suite of configurable APIs.
Current data layers include track layout, speed and direction of trains, local hazards/risks, access points, limited clearances, authorised walking routes, no refuges, signals, points, bridges, tunnels, overhead lines, level crossings, stations and platforms.
Support notes, photographs and videos can also be linked to multiple or single assets, as well as geographical locations, and new sets of data can be added by simply creating a new symbol in the information library, and uploading the new data set.
eTrac is the first tool of its kind and is set to help revolutionise asset maintenance and information management in the rail industry.
Asset visualisation simplifies the complexity of current ‘flat’ data sources such as Ellipse, providing real world visibility of your asset data layered over a GIS mapping platform.
We seamlessly upload your current asset data such as Ellipse and National Hazard Directory and overlay it on over Track Centre Line (TCL) data.
All assets on your schematics have a geospatial reference turning the schematic into a ‘geomatic’.
Simply highlight an area of track from geospatial view and you will be presented with a geomatic with an exact scale down to 0.1 of a yard.
